Ceramic Strip Heaters are a high-performance alternative to Mica Strip Heaters and can be used at temperatures of up to 1200°F continuously.
Ceramic Strip Heaters feature chromium resistance wire coiled inside a ceramic core, inserted into a stainless-steel outer sheath, and insulated with MgO, allowing maximum heat transfer. Ceramic Strip Heaters generally last longer than Mica Strip Heaters.
Starflex Strip Heaters
MPI Morheat Starflex Strip Heaters are superior to Mica Strip Heaters in their durability and temperature uniformity. Starflex Strip Heaters feature resistance wire encased in a tubular heating element, which protects from any harsh environment and allows these heaters to last longer than Mica Strip Heaters. The tubular elements are pressed into a light aluminum body, providing consistent and even temperature across the entire surface.
